Bathna Foundation

We are located in Saket Nagar, which is part of the Doranda area. Pradeep Kr Dubey’s place is where we have set up shop. Doranda is a well-known part of the city, so finding us isn't too hard if you know the landmarks. It’s a bit more urban than some of the other places in the state, but it still feels like a neighborhood. We have a small office space that gets a lot of sun in the morning. Usually, we are there by eight to start the day. There is no big hierarchy here. We all just pitch in. If the floor needs sweeping, one of us does it. If there’s a pile of mail, we all sort through it. We don't use a lot of big words to describe our work. We just say we’re busy with the foundation stuff. Sometimes the tea stall down the street is where we have our most important meetings. It’s just easier that way. We don't have a glossy brochure to hand out. If you want to know about us, you just have to come by and talk. We’re regular people with families and lives outside of work. This place is just where we spend our hours trying to be useful. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We hope to stay in Saket Nagar for a long time. It feels like home now.
