Bablu General Stores

Bablu General Stores is located right at Argora Chowk in Ranchi, along the Harmu Argora By Pass Road. You can find us pretty easily because we are near the SBI ATM. The bypass road is always full of cars and bikes, so it’s a noisy spot to be in. We’ve been here long enough that most of the people who work nearby stop in for a smoke or a cold drink. We keep a variety of things, from snacks to small household tools and daily groceries. The shop isn't much to look at, just a concrete room with stuff piled up wherever there is space. We don't have a big sign with lights. We just have what we have. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the bypass. Other days, it feels like everyone in Ranchi decided to come to Argora Chowk at the same time. We don't do any big promotions or sales. We just sell things at the price marked on the box. It’s a very straightforward business. Sometimes the shelves get a bit messy, and we have to spend the evening tidying up. We aren't a big chain, just a local store trying to get by. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but we’re used to the routine by now. We just keep the shop stocked and wait for the regulars.
