Dhanbad is a place where you get used to the grit and the hard work. Being near the Kali Mandir in Dharkiro gives our office a bit of a calm feeling. We can hear the bells sometimes during the day. House 78 is just a brick building, nothing fancy at all. We have some old wooden chairs that creak when you sit down, but they are comfortable enough. Marketing in a place like this is mostly about talking to people and understanding what they need for their small shops or farms. We don't have a marketing strategy that comes out of a textbook. We just figure it out as we go. The village is quiet for the most part, except for the occasional tractor passing by. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry in the late afternoon. Our team at Aspimo Marketing Private Limited is just local guys who wanted to do something different from the usual mining jobs. We’ve learned everything on the fly. It’s not always perfect and we make mistakes, but we fix them and move on. That’s how we’ve kept going for this long. We don't plan on moving to a big city anytime soon. We like the local food here and the fact that we can walk to work. It’s a simple setup but it gets the job done for us.
