Aryakarn Foundation

Our spot is at 145 Barkagaon, right on the Tandwa Road in Hazaribagh. It’s a pretty straightforward location. If you’re driving down that way, you can’t really miss the turnoffs. We have been here for a bit now, just handling the day-to-day stuff that comes our way. It’s a bit of a dusty area sometimes because of the traffic on the road, but we don't mind much. The building isn't anything special to look at. Inside, we've got a couple of desks and some chairs where we sit and talk through what needs to be done. It’s not like those offices you see on TV. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we end up doing more talking than typing. The Tandwa Road is usually busy with trucks and people going to work. We fit right in with the local pace. There is a lot of history in this part of Jharkhand and you can feel it. We aren't trying to change the world overnight. We just want to get through our list of tasks and help out where we can. It’s a practical way of living. If someone drops by, we usually have time for a quick hello. We aren't hiding behind assistants or big doors. It’s just us here, doing what we do every day. We usually close up when it gets dark.
