Al-Simak Foundation

Al-Simak Foundation operates out of the second floor of Rabiya Enclave here in Kanke. If you know the 481 Churi Tola area, you probably know where Block Road is. It’s a busy spot sometimes with people coming and going. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle our daily tasks. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of what's happening on the street below. Most people find us easily enough once they get to Rabiya Enclave. It’s a local place through and through. We spend our mornings getting things organized and the afternoons dealing with whatever paperwork comes our way. There are plenty of small shops nearby, so there is always someone around. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit much if you’re carrying things, but it’s what we have. We like being in this part of Kanke because it feels central to the neighborhood. There is a lot of history in Churi Tola, and we are just trying to do our part from this little office. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a room where a few of us work and try to stay productive. We keep the kettle going for tea and focus on the work that needs finishing each day. Sometimes the traffic on Block Road gets loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here.
