Agarwal Stores

Agarwal Stores is located on Purillia Road in the Namkum area of Ranchi. We are specifically at the Lowadih Chowk, which is quite a busy junction. You can find us right near the Chota Hanuman Mandir. Having the temple nearby is nice because it brings a lot of people past our door every single day. We sell all kinds of general supplies and groceries. Ranchi is a place where people still like to go to their local shop rather than a big mall, and we appreciate that. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves. The address is 834010 and we have been here at Lowadih Chowk for quite some time now. We don't have any professional staff, just the family members taking turns to sit at the register. We listen to the radio while we work and talk to the regulars about the weather or the local news. The shop is a bit dim inside sometimes, but we have enough light to see what we are doing. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to stay on top of the inventory. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the temple has a festival and the whole street is blocked with people. But that's just life in Namkum. We like being part of the neighborhood here and knowing the faces that walk in.
