The shop is at number 107 on HB Road in Booti. Being near the Choudhary Petrol Pump is helpful because that is where a lot of vehicles stop anyway. I have been sitting at this desk for years now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but I haven't had the time to move everything out. We handle a lot of local travel requests. People from the neighborhood come in when they need to go to the airport or a wedding in another town. I keep a diary for all the dates so I don't forget anything important. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we do things the old way with paper receipts and pens. It is a small place, just big enough for a couple of chairs and the main table. My nephew helps with the bookings when he is not at his college classes. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are in a big hurry and some like to sit and talk about their travel plans for a while. Ranchi has changed a lot since we started, with more roads and more traffic now. We just try to keep the cars clean and the drivers on time. It is a lot of work coordinating everyone, especially during the festival season when everyone wants to go back home. We just stay focused on the daily tasks and making sure the mobile phone is always charged.
