Saurashtra Cement Ltd.

Our place is located right near the railway station here in the Porbandar district. Being Saurashtra Cement Ltd means we deal with a lot of heavy material every single day. The trains go by all the time and you can usually hear them shaking things a bit in the office. It gets quite dusty around here because of all the cement moving around but that is just how this business works. We have been at this specific spot for quite some time now. Most people around the district know the location well because it is so close to the tracks. It is an older building and it doesn't look like much from the outside but it does what we need it to do. We spend a lot of our time checking the different loads and making sure the trucks are moving in and out like they should. The station nearby makes some things easier for us but the local traffic can be a real mess sometimes. We do not bother with big advertisements or fancy signs. Everyone in town knows where the cement place is anyway. Sometimes we sit out front when the sun isn't too hot. The weather here in Porbandar can be pretty tough but we are used to it by now. We just keep the operations running one day at a time. It is a lot of manual work and checking lists. We don't change much.
