Singla Rice Mills

We are located right on Bathinda Road. It's a long stretch of road and you can't really miss the mill when you're driving by. The whole place is usually covered in a thin layer of grain dust, which is just part of the territory when you work with rice all day long. We spend our days processing the harvests that come in from the local farmers. It gets quite loud when the machinery is all running at once. We have a yard where the trucks park to load and unload their heavy bags. It can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we're always wearing boots to keep our feet dry. We aren't a big corporation with offices in the city center. We are right here on the ground where the real work happens. The staff is mostly local folks who have been around for many years. We eat our lunch together and talk about the weather or how the crops are looking this season. It is simple work, but it takes a lot of effort to keep the machines in good shape. We don't have a fancy "About Us" page because we are usually too busy working to think about that kind of stuff. If you need rice or want to talk about a load, you just come down to Bathinda Road and find us. We'll be here from dawn until the last truck leaves the gate.
