We are right here in Rampur, specifically over by the Ajeetpur Bijli Ghar in the Shiv Vhar area of J/Nagar. It isn't a fancy office or anything, just a spot where a few of us sit and try to help with local issues. Most days start with someone coming in because they have a problem with their rights or they're worried about things happening in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down on paper to make sure people are treated okay. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, especially being so close to the power station, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. People from all over Rampur find their way to us, usually by asking directions once they get near the landmark. We don’t have a big team, just enough people to handle the paperwork and listen to the stories that come through the door. It’s mostly about making sure things are fair around here. You might see us walking around Shiv Vhar or grabbing tea nearby when things get quiet for a minute. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the locals know us as the place to go when there's trouble that needs a bit of attention. It’s not glamorous work, but someone has to do the filing and the talking. We just try to stay helpful for the people in our part of Uttar Pradesh.
