Kdn Shashank Social Development Association is located over in Ram Nagar. The address is C/O, 3/1776, Rampur. It’s a local neighborhood where people generally know their neighbors. Our setup is pretty modest. We are working out of a house in the Rampur area. It’s not a commercial building with a lobby or an elevator. 3/1776 is just a regular door on a regular street. Ram Nagar has its own pace of life, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes the street is busy with kids playing or people going about their shopping. We started Kdn Shashank Social Development Association right here because it’s where we are from. There’s no big sign out front, just a small place where we keep our files and do our planning. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in, but we make it work. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. Rampur isn't a fancy business district, but it’s got everything we need. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just come in, sit down at the desk, and do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple, honest way to run things. We’ve been at 3/1776 for a good bit now and it feels right. We like the local feel of the place and the people around us. It’s our home base.
