Anil Hardware Electrical

Up here in the Simla district, specifically in Jhakri Dushar, we run Anil Hardware Electrical. It’s a mountain area, so things can get a bit cold and quiet, especially in the winter months. We keep a lot of tools, wires, and light bulbs because people around the village always need something fixed. The shop is tucked away, but most folks know where to find us. We spend a lot of time sorting through bins of nails and screws. Sometimes the delivery truck takes a while to get up the roads here, so we have to plan ahead. It’s a small family-run thing, really. We aren't trying to be some big city store. We just want to make sure the neighbor has the right pipe fitting or a fresh battery when they need it. The view outside the door is nice, though we’re usually too busy looking at inventory to notice. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and climbing ladders. When the sun goes down, it gets dark fast, so we pack up and head home. Jhakri Dushar is a good community, and we’re glad to be a part of it. We don't have any fancy displays or anything. Just shelves full of metal and plastic parts. It’s practical work for practical people. That’s about all there is to it. We keep a small stove in the back for the cold months. It helps keep the dampness out of the inventory too.
