Hacm Inter College

You will find Hacm Inter College over in Gajraula, which is in the JP Nagar area of Uttar Pradesh. It is a straight-up school for the local community. We deal with students coming in for their intermediate studies. The building is quite large because we have to fit a lot of people inside. It is not a new glass building or anything. It is made of brick and mortar and has seen many seasons. The dust from the roads often settles on the windows. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the wind blows through. In Gajraula, everyone knows each other, so the college is a bit of a meeting point. Teachers here have been working for decades. They have taught the parents of some of the current students. It is a cycle. We have basic classrooms with benches that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. The office stays busy with admissions and exams. There is always a bit of a queue at the window. We do not use much technology for the day-to-day stuff; mostly it is paper and registers. It works for us. The winters can get really cold, so we all wrap up in sweaters and shawls while we work. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just want to make sure the kids finish their schooling and get their certificates. There is not much more to it than that. We just do the work.
