Arbs Industrial Chemicals And Bio Fuels is based over in Civil Lines. It’s one of those older parts of the city with big trees and those grand old buildings. Our place is fairly straightforward and we don't have any modern glass walls or anything like that. We deal with industrial chemicals and bio fuels, so there are always some metal drums or plastic containers sitting around the loading area. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the safety data sheets to make sure everything is in order. Civil Lines is a bit more relaxed than the loud industrial zones, but we still keep a pretty steady pace throughout the week. Our office isn't very modern; it’s got that old-school feel with heavy wooden desks and metal filing cabinets that have been sitting there for years. We aren't much for fancy presentations or corporate marketing talk. We just tell people what we have in stock and when the next delivery truck can get it to them. Some days are much slower than others, especially when the weather is bad and the transport trucks are delayed on the highway. We just take it as it comes and try not to stress too much. It’s a small team here and we’ve all worked together for a long time now. We know the business well and we just stick to what we know works.
