Balaji Traders

Balaji Traders is in Hathi Khana. We are right near the Nagar Palika and directly opposite the Veterinary Hospital. It gets quite noisy during the day because of all the people and animals coming to the hospital across the road. Our building is an old one but it serves us well enough. We have a few simple desks and some shelves that are starting to show their age. The floor is concrete and we have to sweep it a lot because of the dust from the street. Most of our days are pretty much the same. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai. It’s a local spot and everyone around here knows us. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a few fans to keep the air moving when it gets hot in the afternoon. Sometimes the cows from the street wander near the door. We don't mind. The location is good because it’s in the heart of the area. Most people find us easily once they get to the Nagar Palika. We just focus on the stuff we have to do. It’s a small operation and we keep things very basic. That’s just how we’ve always done it here in Hathi Khana. We just stay here and work.
