Our place is in Lalazar Colony, near Noor Mahal in the Civil Lines area of Rampur. It is a quiet enough part of the city and we have a good setup here for our tile business. People know the Noor Mahal landmark, so it makes it easy to explain where we are. We have been working out of this location for a while. It is a very grounded, local business. We don't have a high-tech office. Instead, we have a small room where we keep the books and a yard where the tiles are kept. Dealing with tiles involves a lot of manual labor. We are always loading trucks or helping someone put a few boxes into their car. The work is dirty and we often have grout or dust on our shoes. We get a mix of people coming in, from big contractors to families just wanting to fix a small patch in their home. We treat everyone the same and don't use any complicated talk. We just show you the different finishes and sizes we have available. Rampur is our home, and we know many of the builders who work around here. We don't do much advertising; we just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. It is a simple, honest way to earn a living and we just keep at it every day.
