Swarnendudas & Associates is tucked away in West Bhubanban, which is near Nutan Bazar if you’re coming via Ramnagar. Our office isn’t in one of those tall glass buildings in the city; we’re right here in the village area. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, though Nutan Bazar can get quite lively on market days. We’ve been working out of this location for a while now, and everyone in the village knows where to find us. The office is part of the community, and we see the same faces every day walking past. We handle our daily tasks here, mostly sitting at our desks and going through files or talking to people who drop by. It’s a simple setup with a few fans to keep the air moving and plenty of paper stacked around. Getting here via Ramnagar is a familiar drive for all of us. We like being close to home and not having to deal with the city noise. The pace here is a bit different, which suits us just fine. Sometimes we have to step out to the bazaar to get supplies or just a tea, and that’s when we catch up on the local news. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working together to keep things moving. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is available. There is an old tree outside that gives us some shade in the afternoons. Sometimes we just sit there and talk about the day. It’s a very local way of doing things.
