Upl Environmental Engineers Ltd.

Being over here in Barhi Industrial Area, Phase 3, you get used to the sound of machinery and trucks passing by all the time. Upl Environmental Engineers Ltd. is basically just a group of us working out of this space. It's an industrial zone so it isn't exactly quiet or pretty, but it’s where the work gets done. We spend a lot of our time looking at plans or out on the floor checking how things are coming along with the engineering parts. The office part is small and usually has too much paper on the desks. We try to keep it organized but when things get busy that’s the first thing to go. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years so they know the machines better than anything else. We don't really do the corporate thing with meetings every five minutes. Usually, we just talk over coffee in the morning and decide what needs to happen today. Working in Phase 3 means we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar heavy work. It’s a lot of metal, grease, and trying to figure out how to make things work better. We just stay focused on the project in front of us. If a machine breaks down, we stay late until it's fixed. That's just how it goes in Barhi. No one really complains much because we all know what the job is.
