We are set up over at Mq-105 in the New Double Story area, right by Jarangdih Colliery. You have to ask for B.K. Jha’s place to find us. This is out in the Bokaro district of Jharkhand, zip code 829113. It's a real industrial feel out here because of the colliery nearby. We work under the M.N. Dastur name, mostly focusing on the local projects around the mines. The office is part of a residential-style building, so it feels very grounded. It’s not a shiny corporate tower by any means. We have our desks, our maps, and our project files scattered around the rooms. The air is often a bit heavy with coal dust, but that's just life in Jarangdih. We’ve been here for a while, and most of the locals know who we are. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know the technical side of the work. We usually start early before the heat gets too bad in the afternoon. We aren't big on marketing or social media. If someone needs our help, they usually just show up at the door or send a letter to the P.O. box. It’s a slow and steady way of working, but it gets the job done for the people here. We just try to be useful and keep our records straight. It’s a quiet life despite all the coal trucks passing by, and we like the routine.
