Saunda Basti Sangharsh Foundation

We've been around here in Ramgarh for a while now, specifically over in the Saraiya Tola area of Jainagar. Nitish Kumar handles the main bits of getting things organized from the Tara Prasad spot. It’s just a local effort really. Most people in Hazaribagh know the neighborhood is a bit crowded but we make do with the space we have. The foundation started because there were things that needed doing right here in the basti. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's more of a community thing where neighbors talk and try to sort out whatever issues come up. Sometimes it's about helping someone with paperwork or just looking after the local streets. Being in 829133 means we are right in the thick of it. People just drop by when they need to. It's not a formal corporate setup. We just use the rooms available at Nitish's place. The name mentions sangharsh because things aren't always easy around here, but we keep at it day by day. Everyone knows everyone in Jainagar, so word gets around fast when we are doing something. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just making sure the folks in our part of Ramgarh have someone looking out for them. It’s a bit messy sometimes but that's just how life is. We don't have a schedule that we follow strictly. Nitish is usually around if someone has a question about a form or needs help. We just stay active.
