Our main setup is located at Qr.No. C-5/18 in the Balkudra area. We are right in the heart of the Jindal Steel & Power Limited complex in Patratu, Jharkhand. Since we are in a residential-style quarter, the office feels a bit more relaxed and lived-in than a typical corporate building. The pin code for this area is 829143. Being based in Patratu means we are surrounded by the local hills and the constant hum of the industrial landscape. We manage the steel and power operations from these few rooms. It is not a very large space, just enough for a couple of desks where we keep our records and handle the logistics. You can often hear the distant sounds of the plant working, which is a constant reminder of the business we are in. Most of our staff live right nearby, so the morning commute is usually just a short walk or a quick ride on a scooter. We often sit together for tea in the late afternoons once the main rush of the day has died down. The office could probably use a bit of a tidy up and maybe a fresh coat of paint, but it gets the job done for us. We handle a lot of the paperwork and reporting for the power side of things here. People are always stopping by to drop off notes or check schedules.
