Our place is tied to the name of Shri Ganesh Prasad Shahi and we've been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s a straightforward engineering setup. We don't have a giant corporate building or anything like that. Instead, it’s just a practical space where we handle the metallurgical side of things. It can get pretty dusty and the work is heavy, but it’s what we know. Most of the guys here have grown up seeing the steel plants and the mines, so this kind of work feels natural to us. The 825314 area is home. We spend a lot of time looking at metal samples and dealing with the technical bits of the job. It isn't glamorous. Some days the machines act up or the heat gets to be a bit much, but we just fix what needs fixing and carry on. We know each other's families and how we like our tea. It’s a local operation through and through. When people ask where we are, we just tell them the name and they usually find us eventually. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing the engineering work that comes our way every day in Bokaro. It's steady work.
