Hazaribagh Woodcraft Artisans Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Hazaribagh Woodcraft Artisans Producer Company Limited. You can find us in the village of Garikala, which is under the Kerdari police station area. We are a bunch of folks who work with wood, and we have been doing it in this part of Hazaribagh for a long time. It is not like those big factories you see in the city. Our workshop is right here in the village where we grew up. We mostly spend our days carving, cutting, and figuring out how to make things look right. The air smells like sawdust and old trees most of the time. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales office. We just have our tools and the wood we source. Sometimes we sit under the trees to talk about the next project. Life in Garikala is slow, and we like it that way because woodcraft takes time. You cannot rush it. We are a producer company, which just means we all work together to get our stuff out there. It is hard work and our hands usually have some scratches or stains on them. We don't use big machines for everything; a lot of it is done by hand with the skills passed down to us. People know us by name here. It is a simple way of living, making things from what the land gives us and trying to keep the tradition alive.
