Ashnoor Clinic

We are located right by the Pratap Circle Bus Stand in Siswali, which is part of the Mangrol tehsil. Being near the bus stand means there’s always people moving around. Ashnoor Clinic is a simple place. We get people coming in from the nearby villages who just hopped off the bus. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we are always sweeping. It’s a small town, and everyone seems to know everyone’s business. We have a wooden bench outside for people to sit on while they wait for their turn or their bus. The clinic inside has the basics. A table, a couple of chairs, and some medicine cabinets. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze there is. The walls are painted a light blue, though they are starting to peel a bit near the floor. We don’t have any fancy machines or big glowing signs. Just a board with the name on it. Life in Siswali moves at its own pace. We see farmers, shopkeepers, and travelers. Sometimes the bus is late, and the waiting room gets a bit crowded. We just offer them a glass of water and tell them to wait. It’s an honest way to spend the day. There’s no pretense here. We just open up in the morning and stay until the last bus leaves or the work is done. It is what it is.
