L C N T Bricks

L C N T Bricks is located at 4/29,79 in Valikai Puram which is over in the Thangachi Puram area. If you come out this way you will see our yard is full of bricks drying in the hot sun. It is a dusty and earthy place to work and most of us go home with red stains on our clothes every day. We spend our time mixing the raw clay and setting the molds before they go into the kilns. It is hard physical labor and your back definitely feels it by the end of the week. The heat from the fires is very strong especially when the weather is already warm outside. We do not have a fancy office or a website with lots of shiny pictures. We just have our yard and the trucks that come to load up the bricks for local builders. Valikai Puram is a quiet spot for the most part except for the sound of our work and the trucks moving. We have been making bricks here for a long time and we know how the soil behaves. It is a simple business where we just make something useful out of the ground. Sometimes the rain causes us a lot of trouble and we have to rush to cover the stacks. It is a bit of a battle with the weather but we manage to keep things going regardless.
