Ct International Exports

If you travel down to Pamban in the Ramanathapuram District, you’ll find us at No. 1/680 East Valasai Street. Ct International Exports is basically just a small office near the coast. You can usually smell the salt in the air when the wind blows from the east. It’s not a very busy street, mostly just local people going about their business. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long to keep the air moving. Our desks are usually covered in shipping manifests and ledgers. We don’t have any fancy software for everything; some things are still done the old-fashioned way on paper. The building itself is older, with thick walls that stay surprisingly cool. Pamban is a unique place to work because of the bridge and the sea being so close. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside on the steps and chat. We aren’t trying to be some big global conglomerate. We just handle the exports that come through our hands and make sure they get where they need to go. It’s a quiet life here on East Valasai Street. Most days are the same, which is fine by us. We know our neighbors, and they know us. There’s no big mystery to how we operate. We just show up and do what needs doing until the day is over.
