TAFAZUL CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED

We run Tafazul Construction Private Limited right out of the Main Bazar in Banihal. Specifically, we’re over in the Nagam area, and we’ve been working from Gull Mohd Guni’s place for some time now. Banihal is an important spot because of the tunnel and the road, so there’s always plenty of activity going on. We aren't a polished company with a bunch of sales reps. It’s mostly just us and our small crew. We do construction work all around this part of Doda. It can be a real struggle sometimes because of the steep hills and the way the weather changes so fast. One minute it’s sunny, and the next, a storm is rolling over the mountains. We’ve had to learn how to be flexible with our schedules. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy logo on our shirts. Most people just know us as the guys from the bazar who build things. We handle the paperwork ourselves in a small office space that’s usually filled with papers and samples of tile or stone. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We take pride in the fact that we use local labor and understand the challenges of building in a mountain town. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to build things that are solid and useful for the people who live here. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do, and we keep at it day after day.
