Velu Hospital (Opc) Private Limited

Down in Sayalkudi, you will find our hospital at 48/7, Ward-4, right on the Ramanathapuram Road. It is an OPC setup, so things are a bit more personal around here. The road outside can get quite dusty, and we see a lot of farmers and local workers coming in from the surrounding villages. Ramanathapuram can be a tough place with the heat, so we make sure there is plenty of water for everyone in the waiting area. The building is a bit older, with some cracks here and there, but it serves its purpose just fine. We don't have a big team of people, just a few dedicated folks who show up every day to help out. Sometimes we run out of chairs when a whole family comes in together. The day starts early, usually before the sun gets too high, and we stay open until the evening air cools down a bit. We spend a lot of time talking to the patients about their families and how things are going in their part of town. It isn’t the kind of place you’d see in a movie. It’s just a small hospital on a main road where we try to manage the daily health issues of the community. We use simple record books and do a lot of things by hand still. It’s a quiet life most of the time, and we prefer it that way.
