We are located down in Mandapam, which is in the Ramanathapuram district. You can find us on North Street, specifically at door number 7/55. Being so close to the coast, the air here always has that salty tang to it, and you can feel the humidity as soon as you step outside. It’s a small town vibe, so things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. R.K is a modest operation, and we run things from a simple building on a narrow street. There is often a breeze coming off the water, which helps with the heat, but it’s still pretty warm most of the year. The street outside can get busy when the local markets are active or when people are heading down to the shore. We don’t have a fancy office with glass partitions or expensive carpets. It’s just a plain tiled floor and some sturdy wooden furniture. We spend our time dealing with the local trade and talking to the people who stop by. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors by name and you stop to chat for a few minutes while the tea is being made. Our work isn't complicated, but it requires us to be here every day and stay focused on what needs doing. It’s a quiet life, but we like the pace of it.
