Rafan Hardwares & Materials is located at 94/3 in the Alagu Building. We are right on Sigil Raja Veethi in Kenikarai. This building has seen a lot of years, and we’ve been part of it for a good chunk of that time. The shop is filled with all sorts of hardware items and construction materials. It’s often a bit of a squeeze getting through the aisles when we have a lot of stock in. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, it’s hard to stay on top of it perfectly. People from the neighborhood stop in for all kinds of small things they need for their houses. We know many of our customers by name since they’ve been coming here for years. It’s a noisy street outside, but inside we just focus on the hardware. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us behind the counter. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific part in the back for a while. We don't mind the extra effort. It’s honest work. The Alagu Building is a sturdy place and suits what we do. We open early and stay until the sun goes down most days. There is always someone coming in asking for advice on a fix or needing a specific tool. We do what we can to help out. It's a simple life and we are happy with it.
