Gvi-Global Vision International Indiafoundation is located out in Rameswaram. Our address is a bit of a mouthful, Pandiyalakkal 15/2002-(C) and then there’s a survey number Sy-196/1-Rameswaram-V. It sounds more complicated than it is when you are actually standing here. Rameswaram is a unique place to work because of the history and the ocean all around. We are part of an international network, but the office here is very much a local operation. We don't have a glass office or anything like that. It’s a modest space where we handle all our vision and international foundation tasks. The weather can be quite salty and humid because of the sea, which keeps us on our toes. We’ve been based in Pandiyalakkal for some time. It’s a bit of a walk from the main temple areas, so it’s quieter than the tourist spots. We just focus on our daily goals and try to keep the paperwork in order. The team is small, and we all know each other well. Sometimes it feels like the rest of the world is far away, but we stay connected through our work. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a place where real work happens. We don't use big words or fancy slogans, we just show up and do what needs to be done at this Rameswaram location. Everyone here is just regular people trying to do something useful.
