Our shop is at No 22 on East Car Street in Rameswaram. We are very close to the Thamaniya Dharmashala, which is a big help when people are trying to find us for the first time. East Car Street is always full of life, especially with all the pilgrims and travelers coming through Rameswaram. It can get very crowded and loud outside our door, but we like the energy of it. We have a small office where we manage our travel services. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place for us to work. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the area like the back of our hands. Most of the people who come to us are looking for a way to get around or get out of town after their visit. We try to help them as best as we can. We don’t use a lot of complicated systems. It’s mostly just us and our notebooks and a phone. Sometimes things get busy and we have to move fast, but we always try to be honest with people about what’s available. Being near the Dharmashala means we see people from all over the country. It’s interesting to hear their stories while we sort out their travel. We are just a local family-run type of business doing our part in Rameswaram. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. No big corporate rules here.
