Shanthiniketan Public School Cbse sits right there on B.M Road in Ramanagara, specifically in the Vivekananda Nagar area. Being near the main road means there is always a bit of a rush around the entrance, especially when the buses arrive. Ramanagara is famous for its hills, and you can see them in the distance from some of the upper windows of the school. The building itself is quite large, but we have to work hard to keep it clean with all the dust that comes off the road. We follow the CBSE syllabus, so there is always a lot of pressure during the exam months, with teachers staying late to finish their portions. The kids are a mix of ages, and you can see the older ones helping the younger ones find their way around the corridors. Our lunch breaks are quite short, so everyone has to eat fast before the bell goes again. We have a small area for sports, though it gets quite crowded when multiple classes are out at the same time. The office is usually full of files and people asking questions about admissions or fees. It is a busy environment and things can get a bit messy, but we manage to keep the schedule going. It is just a normal school trying to do its part in this busy part of Ramanagara without making too much of a fuss.
