SHRI GANGAMMADEVI TEXTILE AND POWERLOOMS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED

We are located at Number 234 in Motagondanahalli Village, which is in the Soluru Hobli area of Magadi Taluk. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, away from the big cities. We run a textile and power loom operation here. Since it’s an OPC, it’s a small setup. We have a few looms that take up most of our workspace. They make a lot of noise, so it’s never quiet when we are working. We spend most of our time watching the machines and fixing any threads that break. It’s a lot of standing and moving around. The workshop isn't fancy at all. We have concrete floors and some old fans to keep the air moving. It gets dusty with all the cotton and yarn, so we have to clean up a lot. We don't have a front office or anyone to answer the phones, so if we’re busy with the looms, we might miss a call. We just focus on making the textiles. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in the taluk, so we just have to wait it out or do other chores. It’s a very simple, hands-on business. We don't use any corporate jargon. We just do the work every day and try to keep the looms running. It’s a modest way to make a living, and we’re used to the routine of it now. Most days, we just keep going until the last batch of fabric is done for the day.
