Kps Nandagudi School

Out here in Ittasandra, things are a bit quieter than they are in the bigger cities. Kps Nandagudi School is located right in the Nandagudi post area. It’s a lot of green space and open air around us, which is nice. We aren't a massive building with multiple floors and elevators. It is more of a spread-out place where the kids actually have some room to breathe and move around. The morning air is usually quite fresh before the sun gets too high. We started this place because the families in Ittasandra really needed a school nearby for their children. Most of our teachers live in the surrounding villages, so they know the families well. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running, fixing things when they break, and making sure the garden isn't overgrowing too much. It’s not a polished corporate environment by any means. You might find a bit of dust on the shelves or a squeaky door that needs oiling. That’s just how it is in a rural school like ours. We don't have fancy uniforms for the staff, just regular clothes that we wear to work. The kids bring their own lunch boxes and often sit under the trees when the weather is nice enough. We like the pace of life here in Nandagudi. It’s a very straightforward way of living and working. We just focus on the daily tasks and the students who come here.
