Our place is at 121,d in Manchanyakanahalli, which is right along the Bangalore Mysore Highway in Bidadi. If you’ve ever driven that road, you know it can get pretty packed with traffic, especially on the weekends when everyone is heading out of town. We’re out here where there’s a bit more space for an electronics setup. Inside, it’s mostly quiet work, people sitting at benches with soldering irons or testing boards to see if they actually work like they should. We’ve been in Bidadi for a good stretch of time now. The area has changed quite a bit with more factories and warehouses popping up nearby. It’s a long day for most of us, especially with the commute from the city, but we like the work we do. It takes a lot of concentration to get the circuits right, so we don't talk a whole lot when we're in the middle of a delicate task. We have our tea breaks twice a day where we catch up, and then it’s back to the small components. The building itself is pretty basic, nothing too special to look at, but it keeps our equipment dry and safe. We deal with a lot of tiny parts that are very easy to lose if you’re not being careful. It’s a lot of focus and a lot of patience, day in and day out. We just try to get the boards finished and tested without any major errors.
