Denimax Jeans India Private Limited is based out in Belagumba Village. If you know the Magadi Taluk area in Ramanagara, you might know where we are. We are on Survey No 22/5 and 22/9. It’s a bit outside the main city of Bangalore, more in the rural part which is actually quite nice because it's quieter. We focus on jeans and denim stuff here. The building is simple and we spend our hours mostly dealing with heavy fabric and indigo dyes. It’s messy work. Denim is tough on the hands and the machines, so there is always something needing repair. We have a good group of people from the village who work with us. It’s not like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. We wear old clothes to work because everything gets stained anyway. The commute for some of us involves dusty roads, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just try to keep the production steady and the quality okay. Jeans are always in demand so we stay busy enough. Sometimes the weather in Ramanagara makes the drying process take longer, which is annoying. We don’t have a big marketing team or a flashy website. Just a gate, a warehouse, and a bunch of sewing stations. We’ve been at this for a while now and the 562120 area is home to us. It is just how it goes here every day.
