Our place is located at 79 82 in Bidadi. It’s a large facility, much bigger than the shops in the city. You can usually smell the baking from quite a distance away before you even see the gates. Working here means following a lot of schedules. The trucks come in and out all day long, carrying flour and sugar and then taking away the finished boxes. It’s a noisy environment with all the conveyor belts and ovens running 24 hours. We have a lot of people working shifts, so there’s always someone coming or going. The break room is where we all hang out and talk about the weekend. Bidadi is a bit of a drive for some of us, but we’re used to it. The floors are kept as clean as possible, but it’s a factory, so there’s always a bit of dust here and there. We don't do much marketing from this office, we just focus on the production lines. Sometimes a machine breaks down and everyone has to scramble to get it fixed so the batch doesn't go bad. It’s a lot of physical work and staying on your feet. We don't have fancy carpets or quiet offices. It’s just a big building where we make food every single day. We’ve been at Bidadi 79 82 for a long time, and the rhythm of the place just keeps going.
