Ayali Hotels is situated in Ambadahalli Village, which is in Channapatna. This is part of Ramanagara, in the Bangalore Rural area. It's a very different environment compared to the city. There are more fields than buildings around us. Our office is right here in the village. We started the company to be close to the local hotel projects we are involved with. It’s a quiet place to work, though you might hear a tractor or some cattle once in a while. We don't have a fancy office setup. It's a simple room with the basic things we need like a table and some chairs. Most of our work is done manually or on a single laptop. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just talk to people in the area and manage the hotels the best we can. It’s a very hands-on way of doing business. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, so we just wait it out or do paperwork by hand. We like being out here because it's peaceful and the air is better than in Bangalore. We don't use any corporate jargon. We just do the daily chores of running a hotel business. It’s a lot of little things that add up. We know our neighbors and we like being part of the community in Ambadahalli. It’s a slow life, but we stay quite occupied with all the responsibilities we have.
