Our place is out in the Bidadi Industrial Area. It’s a big industrial hub on the outskirts of Bangalore. Being at number 20 here makes sense because we need to be near the factories and the big trucks. Transystem is all about logistics, and in an area like this, there’s never a quiet moment. The dust from the roads and the noise of machinery is just part of the day for us. We have a simple office where we manage all the international and local transport. It’s mostly about scheduling and making sure things arrive when they should. We deal with a lot of heavy cargo that goes all over the place. We have a lot of tea and talk about routes and fuel prices. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have backups to keep the computers running. It’s a gritty environment, but it suits the work we do.
