Sri Venkateshwara Earth Movers

Sri Venkateshwara Earth Movers is based in Jyothi Nagar, right over in Annpurna Colony near the NTPC area. It is a quiet residential spot, but we do a lot of heavy work from here. We have a few JCBs and tractors that we use for clearing land and digging trenches for pipes. Most of our jobs are right here in the colony or just on the outskirts. I started this business with just one machine and slowly added another one when things got a bit busier. The office is basically just a room in the house where I keep the paperwork and the keys. My wife helps with the accounts when she has time in the evenings. It is a family-run thing. We don't have a big crew. It is just me and a couple of drivers I have known for years. We do a lot of work for people building new houses in the area. The ground around here can be very tough and rocky, so the machines take a real beating. I spend many of my weekends doing maintenance and greasing the joints on the backhoes. We are not a big corporation with fancy uniforms. We just wear our work clothes and get dirty. If someone in Annpurna Colony needs some dirt moved, they usually just walk over to my house. It is a local business in every sense. We don't have a website or any ads. Just word of mouth.
