Keso Ram Cement

Godavarikhani is a busy place, and Thilak Nagar stays pretty active throughout the week. We are located at 745, right in the middle of it. Keso Ram Cement isn't a massive corporate headquarters. It’s just our spot where the bags come in and go out. Cement is heavy and it gets everywhere, so the floors are always a bit grey. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading. You learn to lift with your legs after a while. Most people who come in are building something small or fixing a wall. We see the same faces quite often. The weather affects how busy we get. When it rains, things slow down because nobody wants wet cement. We sit out front when it’s quiet. The address is easy to find if you look for the number 745. We don’t do much advertising, word of mouth works better around here. My brother handles the deliveries when the truck is working right. Sometimes it breaks down and we have to wait for the mechanic. That’s just how it goes. We aren't trying to change the world. We just sell what people need to build their homes. It’s a simple living. We open up early and close when the sun goes down. Most days we are tired but it feels good to finish the work. There's a little tea stall across the road where we get our morning chai.
