Thombre Cement Products

Our place, Thombre Cement Products, is located in the Ramnager Colony of Rajura. It's a busy little spot in the Chandrapur district. If you’re at the Balharpur Railway Station, you’re actually pretty close to us. You can hear the trains whistling all day long while we work in the yard. We make all sorts of cement items here. It’s a lot of mixing and pouring into different molds. The Taluka-Rajura area is known for being quite warm, so we try to get the heavy pouring done before the afternoon sun hits us too hard. The cement gets everywhere—on our boots, our clothes, and the floor of the shed. We’ve got a few sheds where we let things set and dry slowly. It’s not a glamorous job, but there is something nice about seeing a row of finished products all lined up and ready to go. We’ve lived in Rajura most of our lives, so we know most people who come through the gate. Usually, they’re just locals looking to fix up a wall or put in a new floor for their home. We don't use big words or fancy sales pitches when people ask about our work. We just show them what we’ve made that week. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees come by and cause a bit of trouble in the yard, but we just shoo them away. It's just a normal day for us at the colony, keeping the cement moving.
