Virat Agarbatti

We are based right at J. K. Circle in Kankroli. If you are in the area, you can probably smell the incense before you see the sign for Virat Agarbatti. It’s a small operation we’ve got going here. We spend most of our time dealing with the sticks and the scents. The air inside is always thick with different smells, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. Kankroli is a nice place to be, and being at the circle means we see a lot of people passing through every day. We don't have a big corporate office or a shiny lobby. It’s more of a workspace where we pack everything up and get it ready for people to buy. Sometimes the floors are a bit dusty from the materials we use, but that is part of the job. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we aren’t all related by blood. We’ve been around J. K. Circle for a while now and we know the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a steady life. We make the agarbatti, we sell it, and we start again the next day. No big complications or high-tech systems here. Just simple handwork and a lot of patience. Sometimes we stay late when the orders are high, but that’s just life at the circle. It's a modest business but it keeps us going.
