We are located at Qtr No.C-72, right in the Rajpura Dariba Mines area. If you know Hindustan Zinc Ltd, then you know exactly where we are. It is a busy place around here, especially with all the mining activity going on day and night. Living and working in Dariba means you get used to the dust and the heat of Rajasthan pretty quickly. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day work for Veadanta Resources. Most of us have been here a while now, so we know the roads and the local spots well. It is a long way from the big cities, but there is a lot to do. We spend most of our mornings getting things organized before the sun gets too high. By afternoon, it gets quite warm, so we try to stay inside and catch up on the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet gets a bit slow, but that is just part of being out here. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s families by now. It is more like a small community than a corporate office. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s not always easy, but it is home for us. We see the trucks moving in and out all day long, which reminds us why we are here in the first place. Anyway, that is pretty much us.
