Kanti Lal Jain and the rest of us are usually at Shop Number 23 in the Gokul Plaza Complex. This is right near the Central Bank of India in Nathdwara. Most people know the area because of the temple, but we spend our time here at the shop. Silvery Arts Private Limited is a small place but we keep it organized. We deal with silver and other items that people in Rajsamand look for. The plaza gets busy in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the backup. It’s a practical workspace. We don’t have fancy rugs or expensive furniture. We have counters and display cases that have been here for years. My father, Kanhaiya Lal Lodha, taught us the importance of just doing the work well. We sit here and talk to the people who stop by. Some are just passing through and others we have known for a long time. It’s a local business through and through. We handle the orders as they come and try to keep things moving.
