Natraj Misthan

Natraj Misthan is located in the Kankroli New Market area. It is a busy place to have a shop because the market is where everyone comes to do their shopping for the week. We have been here for a bit, and we see all sorts of people walking through. The shop is mostly known for the different kinds of sweets we keep in the glass cases. Every morning we start by setting everything out and making sure the floor is swept. The New Market can be a bit of a mess sometimes with all the stalls and people moving around, but it has a lot of energy. We do not really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run okay. People usually stop in for a quick bite while they are out buying clothes or groceries. Sometimes we have a lot of one thing and then it is gone in an hour. We do not really plan it out too much, we just make what we know people like. It gets pretty warm in the shop when the ovens are going, so we usually keep the doors wide open to get a breeze. It is a very straightforward business. We do not use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sweets and sell them to the people in Kankroli. It has been our routine for a long time and we do not see that changing much.
