Morwad Marmo & Mines Private Limited

We are located near the village of Morwad in the Amet area. This is where the work happens, close to the mines where the stone is. Morwad Marmo & Mines is pretty much what it sounds like. We deal with marble and the mining of it from the ground. It is a dusty, rugged kind of business to be in. We spend most of our time out near the sites or in the small office we keep nearby to track the loads. There is no city noise out here, just the sound of machinery and the movement of heavy stone on trucks. We’ve been part of this community for a long time now. Mining is hard work and it depends a lot on the earth and the weather conditions. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning and fancy lights. If you come to see us, you are definitely going to get some dust on your shoes. We take the stone out of the ground and get it ready for wherever it needs to go next, whether that's for a house or a big building project. It is a simple life, focused on the quality of the marble we find. People in Amet know us, and we know the land around Morwad. We aren't interested in being a huge global corporation. We just want to keep the mines running smoothly and the marble moving out. It is honest, physical work that’s been done this way for years.
