Macon Camera & Enterprises

Macon Camera & Enterprises is right by the Charbhuja Mandir in Madara, Railmagra. Being near the temple means we hear the bells every morning and evening, which is a nice rhythm for the workday. Our shop, at number 229, is where we keep all the camera gear and the equipment for the enterprise side of things. It’s a bit dusty because of the location, but we try to keep the lenses and the sensitive stuff clean. We get a lot of people stopping by on their way to or from the mandir, sometimes just to ask for directions or to see what we have on the shelves. It’s a small space, so things are stacked pretty high to make use of the room we have. We spend most of our time repairing things or explaining how a certain piece of equipment works to someone who isn't very tech-savvy. Railmagra is a small enough place that word of mouth is how most people find us anyway. We don't have any flashy advertisements or anything. We just sit here, work on the cameras, and talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the monkeys from the temple area cause a bit of trouble outside, but that’s just part of the local charm. We’re just a regular shop doing what we know how to do best in our little corner of Madara. I usually spend some time in the evening organizing the parts drawers for the next day while the last pilgrims leave the Mandir area.
