Krishna Masala

We've been here near the Dariba Mines for a while now. It’s a busy area with the main market just down the road. Most people around Railmagra know where we are. We mostly deal with different spices. It started small. We just wanted to make sure folks could get the right ingredients for their cooking without traveling too far. The shop isn't fancy. There’s usually a bit of dust from the mines around, but we keep the inside clean. Some days are busier than others, especially when the market is full. We spend a lot of time grinding and packing stuff. It smells like turmeric and coriander all day in here. It gets into your clothes. My family helps out when things get backed up. We don't have a big website or anything. People just walk in or call us. We try to keep prices fair because we know everyone in the neighborhood. It's a simple life. We like being part of the community here. If you're passing the mines, you'll see our sign. Sometimes we run out of certain things if the delivery is late, but we manage. We just do what we do every day. It's not a big corporate thing, just a local spot for masala. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait to start the grinders again, but that’s just life in Railmagra. We don't mind the extra work. It makes the final product feel more real to us anyway.
